It's a quite good idea to make a sequel of one of the favorite gamers' games, but is it really as worth as the company consider it to be? Actually, the first episode of the series, Emergence, didn't impress me too much and I'm going to explain why. The first thing that stroke me is that you have only three main kinds of guns at your disposal. I should say, it is very poor for the police officer whose role you play! By the way, you have not so many kinds of enemies. They are numerous instead and not clever, so it's rather simple to adjust to get rid of them quickly. Though their quantity is terrible and there's no so-called balance in their number and skills. I find it's tiresome, boring and can lead to a certain irritation by the end of the game. In my case, it happened quite a bit earlier! Another "feature" that completely disappointed me is that there's no multiplayer mode. What a pity! The last bad side I want to mention is dialogs and the theme. Both items are realized in an uninteresting way, to my mind. Fortunately, I have something positive to say. The action is intense and may engage you in the process. I also enjoyed very good and realistic physics.
