Quake has been a legend for me and for many gamers around the world. To be more exact it used to be. When I was playing this game I felt a lack of something. Everything seemed to be well done, I mean graphics, design, professionalism of creators of the game which make it one of the most successful one. I appreciated the game from the technical point of view. It's an up-to-date thing which generally satisfies the requirements of gamers. However, when I had enjoyed the performance, I understood that the gameplay is simplified. Trite expressions, stupid monsters... and what about your hero? It seems that he is not supposed to think at all. Just struggle and fight, do not invent anything, all obstacles are too simple to make an effort while overcoming them. Of course, the game is typical of the genre of action but I would prefer to have an opportunity to think before to act.
