Fight enemies: Use these tips to fight your enemies effectively.
• Use the Bomb Glove or the Mine Glove, when your enemy is charging straight towards you.
• Snipe difficult enemies when possible with the Devastator or the Visibomb gun.
• Sniping often places you in a vulnerable position. So, to allow for this weakness in your defenses, throw out some Defense Drones.
• Use the Suck Cannon on the planet Pokitaru.
• The easiest way to win against the bosses (by one blast) is to have the weapon R.Y.N.O.
• To defeat the small quick enemies, use the Pyrociter, wrench or Glove of doom.
Money: These are very simple ways to get more money!
• Fall off the edge and when the enemies will come back, kill them to get more money!
• Receive the metal detector and go to previous planets to search for hidden Bolts. Note: the items respawn after you leave the planet.
Skills: When you got the Morph-O-Ray, go back to Blackwater City and take the O2 mask from your gadgets menu. Now go to the DownTown, make your way to your right up to the tank and use it on a chicken.
Ammo: The crates with the letter “G” (Ratchet will meet them on each planet) contains lots of ammo inside!
Weapons: To get gold weapons, use this tip. When defeated Drek, go to Novalis, press triangle on the transporter you will see when getting off the ship. It will bring you to the room with gold weapons!
Bolts: Here you can find some useful tips on how to get easy bolts!
• Use your boomerang+wrench to get loose bolts!
• In Blackwater City, you can find two gold bolts. Get the O2 mask and past the secret passage that starts to flood with water to get the 1st one. Go to the man hole at the end of the maze, jump on it and when it goes up, get on top of the maze. Now make your way to the second bolt.
• After Gemlik Base, break the boxes to your right, then go back to the transporter and get to the fighter hanger. Enter the first door and go downstairs, use your wrench to unlock the door and keep hitting it to get more bolts!
• Go to the giantclank platform (the Giantclank planet), turn into giantclank, then fall off. As you are invincible, you can defeat the robots and die. Repeat it to get bolts.
• To get a lot of bolts for the R.Y.N.O, go to the race track where there was a shelf of lots of boxes. Mind that if you take 5 boxes ant return, they will reappear! Equip the taunter, it will break the boxes and the bolts will be yours.
• To get the gold bolt on Vedin, when defeated the second tank, look around and find a blue shield. To deactivate it, you have to lure the enemy on the switch.
• Your Magnetic Wrench will attract bolts as far as a Vacuum gun can do it.
• While using Magnet Ratchet, enemy’s bolts will return to you when you knock it off the cliff.
• Play the Giant Clank minigame at the robot factory planet to get bolts for the R.Y.N.O.
